Who We Are:

Men of Faith, Men of Color is a program of Metropolitan Interdenominational Church First Response Center whose primary goal is to reduce the transmission of HIV/AIDS among gay and bisexual men through education, fellowship, and community service.

By creating a safe, compassionate, non-judgmental environment for services, we reach a significant number of gay and bisexual men. Also, by increasing the capacity of churches to engage in prevention with gay and bisexual men of color, we create a sustained initiative that relies on the resources, both financial and human, of the church as a cornerstone institution in our community.

Although founded by and for gay men of color, MFMC is open to all persons interested in sharing the mission of HIV/AIDS prevention.
